This…Month’s Activities on Facebook…
Okay, so I’ve been falling behind with this! It’s actually because, while I save my FB updates, they are not always all on one computer, and some computers don’t know how to share…have to do something about that, especially since having three computers means that two of my cats have to go without, or share, and we know how that goes. Plus, that means I need to get up and go to another computer on a regular basis, which means possibly awakening a kitty on the lap from a nap before that kitty is ready to awaken.

So their little plot to surround me and dig me out from under the covers backfired this morning because they were all so cute and purring I couldn’t get up and they purred me back to sleep.

Why do you insist upon picking me up and squeezing me and slobbering on me when all I want to do is walk some slow, dignified figure-8s around your ankles? I have to start all over again every time you put me down. [Mimi]

I started to feel a little used when I was repeatedly called into the kitchen to retrieve a crackle ball for a certain kitty, so I went in and stared under the bookshelf and shoved my arm under there and then left. Three of them are still looking under there.

Is it cruel if I make the FreeKibbleKat mew once or twice after I’ve answered the question so that Giuseppe and Mr. Sunshine go looking for the kitty?

Whenever I can’t find the wireless mouse at my kitchen computer, I can always reach under Giuseppe and find it under his belly. I think he’s trying to hatch it into a real mouse.

Giuseppe has found it very satisfying all day to suddenly leap at the window and scare all the starlings away from the bird suet, dozens of birds go flapping and squeaking up into the sky.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Each door and window Mimi has looked out today has still contained winter and she just can’t understand why one of them at least doesn’t contain summer! And her human is doing nothing about it!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Sometimes Mimi makes the same “hello” and “follow me” chirps and trills to me that I remember her saying to her kittens (and she still does). I feel very special.

Jelly Bean, the only way you can get any closer to me is to crawl inside my clothing and I’m not sure my sweater is big enough for both of us.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Giuseppe is nuzzling his face under my left hand and Mr. Sunshine is nibbling on my right knuckles, I guess it’s dinner time.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Just soaked my hands into a warm and purring pile of, oh, three or four black cats. If you have any of the symptoms of repetitive motion issues with your hands, the warm purring massage is a great treatment.

The important question this brilliant sunny morning is: Do I take photos of my cats in the sun this morning that look pretty much like the ones I took on yesterday’s sunny morning? Like I can stop myself. A sketch too.

Oh, my, the drama–Mewsette has lost her crackle ball! All other activities must stop until we find it.

I loved them all, but the purr-cure for repetitive motion pain was pretty wonderful.
Sparky, I indulge frequently, even when it’s not strictly necessary. I consider it preventive health care. Wish I could claim my kitties on my taxes.
We like all the little snippets of thoughts. We can’t hold on to a crackle ball for even a minute. Mom’s been promising for days to dig them out from all the places they like to hide, but so far, she has not followed through. Happy Caturday. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
Janet, it’s fun to remember when they happened…
