Be a Cat Champion

Not so sure about the cat champion status.

I took a little quiz and found out that I’m a Cat Champion! Nonetheless, I think the rough-looking crowd above aren’t so sure.

I read a regular enewsletter from Cat Friendly Homes, which is sponsored by the American Association of Feline Practitioners and part of Fear Free Pets. I enjoy the articles I find there and attend every webinar I can. This week the newsletter offered a 13-question multiple-choice quiz and I thought I’d give it a try. After all these years of living with cats and lots of socializing and fostering for practice and study to confirm, I should be able to manage 13 questions.

The questions range from mealtime setups to reasons for play, litterbox choice, are and placement and appropriate affection. I really did get all 13 questions correct on the first try. While I’m proud of this, I’ll also add that taking quizzes like these through the years helped to point out to me what I did not know and helped me to learn about the things I didn’t know. That’s actually the reason I was quite pleased—have I finally arrived?

Maybe so, but more importantly I’d like to encourage you to take this quiz. It’s not terribly difficult but it can be a little tricky, and as little quizzes worked for me this one may point out areas where you might improve, for the good of your felines and those around you.

Here’s the link to the page: Give it a try! And then keep visiting the site and reading.
