Daily Sketch Reprise: Sunny Morning

I’ve always loved the long shadows that the cats and objects make sitting on the floor in the sun as it streams in through the morning, and the silhouettes of petite Mimi and bigger Mewsette against the varied shadows and highlights were so graceful.
I began exploring this style, and use of lines and crosshatches, about this time last year. A little later I found a few different types of markers that made it much more successful.

That is so terrific, those long shadows. And those are some long ones. Great sketch. Take care and have a good week end.
Thanks, Marg–happy Saturday to all of you!
