My Inspirations

Coffee and a Cookie?

More than that!

Inspiration No. 1: Cookie, ready to start the day! Even though she was never a morning torite she’s always been the one to happily accompany me in whatever I do and wherever I go around the house.

Inspiration No. 2: my morning coffee, fresh ground, French-pressed.

Inspiration No. 3: my favorite mug featuring one of the paintings I’ve always found most inspiring “The Starry Night”, by an artist I’ve always found inspiring, Vincent Van Gogh.

This photo and and others will be included in the 2013 calendar “In The Kitchen With Cookie”.

Ah – three of my favorite things: cats, coffee and Van Gogh! I used to have a poster of “The Starry Night” hanging in my bedroom.

Vicki, it’s funny how it came together! I had a poster in my dorm room, then in several apartments after college. I decided I should have a real print of it some day, haven’t done it yet, but I will.
