As I mentioned last Sunday, things financially tightened and now events and open artist markets are canceled through June, so thanks to you followers who made purchases or donated! A few more design or art assignments came through this week and will probably continue drifting in. Local grocery stores put out a call for temporary workers and there are two on the bus line that I’m planning to visit. Patching things together is how my income usually works, whether it’s a variety of creative assignments and vendor events among the regular customer work or tossing in a part-time job where necessary.
I don’t want to let things fall behind here, though, and because I’m also interested in moving artwork into good homes so I can make more, I’m offering a special discount on all original artwork, bigger than the usual, only until March 31, 2020 (in addition to the 25% on your total order that I offered two weeks ago, see below). I’m only restricting the time right now so that I can concentrate any sales I have into a short period and better budget for the future. Depending on how sales and part-time jobs and freelance work go, I may extend this into April. In April I offer my Mothers and Fathers Day portrait specials through June too.

This includes not just my larger works, but also my daily sketches. I offer everything framed, but some of the less fragile daily sketches (pastel, oil pastel, charcoal, maybe pencil) I would be happy to sell the original unframed
I am exempting three originals from this sale because I’m not sure I want to part with them: Peaches and Peonies, Are You Looking at Me? and Waiting for Mom. I am most attached to Are You Looking at Me? and Waiting for Mom. I’ve tried, and I just can’t imagine them not being with me, but I might negotiate for Peaches and Peonies, especially since it’s been at Chartiers Custom Pet Cremation for almost a year and I’ve been okay with that.
If there is an original that you don’t see and are interested in, it may be sold, or it just may not be listed. Most of my daily sketches aren’t listed, and some other paintings too. Listing on my website is time-consuming and I tend to either wait until I have a bunch in one category, or list as I make or feature things. Please ask if you have any questions, bernadette at bernadette-k dot com.
Here is your “other” discount if you aren’t interested in original artwork.
