Love this gorgeous photo, Bernadette :))
Worth the effort that must’ve gone into getting it.. just right!!
[There are certain conveniences to using digital photography, aren’t there??]

Hi, Bernadette, I saw I had a reply I’d not seen @ WordPress.. n it took me a minute to wonder what on Earth I meant by my ‘digital photography’ comment?!! [Which, at first view, didn’t sound 100%]
Then it came to me.. with digital photography you can take hundreds of photos n look through for the Best.. ‘at no extra cost’!!
Something that would have been prohibitively expensive n time-consuming with developing film, scanning negatives n perusing prints. With digital images, too. Once you’ve chosen out your favourites you can delete the rest.. if you’ve a mind to..just to clear the decks n make more room.
I hope you got that OK. The effort was being there to click n catch just the right moment that you can see is possible in your minds eye.. or know something is likely to be there. Where they are, so are you.
I Love The Creative Cat :)) Thank you.

    • CK, they always do! I love mealtimes as much as they do.

  • Even though the photo is blurry, we love the four white bowls, four black cats and four rosy tongues. We can’t imagine that you were able to catch all four with their tongues out! Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

    • Kitties Blue, I put the shutter on multiframes and photographed them at the end of nearly every meal, tossing little extra pieces into their bowls so they would all be done at the same time. I have a bunch of other photos now…

  • I can’t tell you how many times I photographed them like this trying to get the best shot…the tongues won this one, even though it’s a little blurry!

    • FaRaDaY, you bet, dude! We don’t get it when we hear about “finicky” cats, or cats who walk away from their bowls and leave their humans worrying–and their sibs eating their dinner! What’s that all about?

    • Oz, yes, and the next step is synchronized bathing!

    • Purrs, at this point in their day they couldn’t get much happier!

    • Hi Sugar! It’s one of those blissful moments we think about all day long.

  • There’s just something about those little faces lined up *en masse* that gets me. 🙂

    • Diana, you would understand how many photos of them I have that I never even share because there are too many…

  • I love how all their tongues are out at the same time – plus how they line up shortest to tallest! They’re such great models!

The tongues were the first thing I saw. What a happy crew! <3
