“This is Wet.”

photo of tortoiseshell cat
Kelly has a request.

“This is wet. Can you dry it off for me?”

Who could turn down that beautiful face and especially those intensely green eyes? But as much as I’d give her the world, I’m not sure I can dry off the back yard for Kelly.

She doesn’t mind the wet flagstone and flowers, she really just wants to make sure it’s okay if she proceeds. I wanted to get a few more photos of her in the forget-me-nots before I have to cut that portion of my back yard. Torties look so beautiful in forget-me-nots.

  • yep..its your job to dry off those steps…after all..she has age as privilege!

    • Savannah, what’s sweet is that Kelly is the least demanding kitty you’d ever meet. She never asks for anything–unless it’s mealtime!

    • Ingrid, I am so happy that she is looking so physically well and acting content. She has experienced so much loss and change but she is resilient. These photos and my other recent art of her are celebrating the new Kelly.

    • Deb, when Kelly is in it, there is no way to choose, but thanks for trying! Same with your photos, all those lovely stripes and spots!
