The Creative Cat is a Nose-to-nose Finalist!

BlogPaws 2012 Nose-to-Nose Pet Blogging and Social Media Awards - Finalist: Best Blog Design Wow! My creative cats and me are thrilled to learn that The Creative Cat is a finalist in the BlogPaws “Nose-to-Nose” Social Media Pet Blogging Awards 2012!

Giuseppe will come for you if he finds out you didn't nominate.

The entrants could nominate themselves or encourage others to nominate them in 12 different categories. Of course, they had my “muscle” to deal with if they didn’t.

Entries were “judged by a panel of distinguished professionals on their expertise, creativity, and performance” regardless of whether or not Giuseppe “convinced” others to nominate our blog.

We are a finalist in the category of “Design”, which is really gratifying since I’d just finished the big redesign of The Creative Cat the day the contest entries ended. I’d planned it for months and worked on it for days beforehand, but wasn’t really sure it was done.

Here is the announcement of the decisions, and here are the other finalists! Congratulations to all who worked hard enough to be rewarded with a nomination!

For that I get a free pass to BlogPaws, so I guess I’ll be doing my best to get to BlogPaws 2012 in Salt Lake City…next month? What will my kids think when I’m gone?! What will they do when I’m gone?! What will I do without them?!

Halo, Purely for Pets and Freekibble.com are the official sponsors of the 2012 BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose Pet Blogging and Social Media Awards, and for each category winner, Freekibble.com will award them a 5,000-meal donation of Halo Spot’s Stew to the rescue or shelter of the winner’s choice.

Well deserved nomination for Blog Design. But, if there was any justice, your blog ought win in a whole slew of different award categories. Best blog writing [with day to day cat events n cat rescue particulars n initiatives + pet loss assistance + info on painting, drawing n manipulation of photos of cats1!!], Best humour [quiet, affectionate humour every day!!], Best Photo!! [Photos that capture the essence of the cats n their Life with you!! Don’t know who they think will have done bloomin’ better???].
Winners to be announced at an awards ceremony on 23rd June.. I’ll be thinking of you.. but only one nomination??? PPlleeeaaase??!!! xxx

Annie, you’re too generous! But I truly appreciate your comments. That’s pretty much what I offer, despite my efforts at other things; this is what I have right now, and I’m glad you enjoy it.

BTW, did I ever send you your cards? I don’t remember sending them and I can’t find the order–sometimes Etsy and PayPal store them away if I tell them I’m not using the shipping service they figure I should use.
