Stinkbugs for Fun and Exercise

Stinkbug!

Stinkbugs exist to make sure kitties get some exercise in the winter.

While the snow falls outside and the days are short, other kitties might be napping in warm spots but Jelly Bean has found a marvelous toy. He’s gentle with his find—he wants it to last all day. As soon as the insect gets almost all the way up the pane, JB gently knocks it back down to the windowsill and the process begins all over again.

My kitties don’t mess with stinkbugs anymore…….they got one taste and that was it with stinkbugs. Now, when they see one, they close their eyes and back up very slowly!

    • Only Kelly eats them now and then, but mostly the Big Four learned that you can keep one of these slow-moving bugs going all day by just giving it a nudge now and then, or knocking it down from the window when it’s nearly at the top so it can start all over again.
