From the Archives: A Holiday Photo Shoot
Cookie’s expression may have you thinking otherwise, but really, when I photographed Cookie all dressed up for the holidays, and not looking very happy about it, the whole thing was her idea. We were all playing around that day—Peaches at 17, Giuseppe, Sunshine, Mewsette and Bean at five months old, Mimi only four, Namir and Kelly at 14 and Cookie at 15. They had gotten new Christmas catnip toys from a friend and strewn them all over the floor (okay, they had some help with the strewing), and all were feeling good, including me. I’ve always enjoyed putting things on Cookie, so I decided she should be decorated and proceeded putting toys on her head.
Then it hit both of us, and we got a little set together, and the rest is history. Below is a slideshow with tacky Christmas music showing the sequence of events. Watch it here or on YouTube.
