Marketplace: Summery Feline and Flower Garden Flags
While your summer flowers are filling in add some extra color with garden flags! Most of my customers have purchased both feline and flower garden flags, so I share them together here in my Marketplace posts.
Don’t worry about putting them out too early, or leaving them out all year, for fear of fading and wear. I’ve left my sample garden flags out in my front yard in all seasons, some since autumn 2019 when I started experimenting, and I’ve added two or three samples from each generation of garden flags I’ve made since July 2020 when I first offered them. The oldest have faded and a few are fraying but that’s not too bad for up to three years outdoors in all weather. I knew they were good for a year or two in full sun during temperate months, and it’s only been the test of time to find they are durable enough that I can pretty much guarantee them for two years in all weather except for areas that may have really extreme weather.
Here is a sampler of garden flag designs I currently have on hand, but it’s by no means all of the designs! I’m working out new designs and may be retiring a few this year.
