Giuseppe must surely be absorbing some of the colors of the pens in my pen cup. I certainly thought the colors were inspiring next to Giuseppe’s black fur! Because he was sleeping I had the time to get more detail on his face than usual.

Today I’m still exploring all those interesting foreshortened Giuseppe angles since I had such difficulty yesterday although it came out okay. You can see he waited until I began to sketch to resettle himself with the series of lines above his back…this is how it is sometimes, but always worth it for the outcome.

    FYI: Plz purr fur our kitty, Toby. His tail got caught in the screen door Saturday Afternoon and the tip will have to amputated. Toby is four years old.
