Daily Sketch: Dirty Little Brother

charcoal sketch as two cats
Dirty Little Brother, charcoal pencil, 8.5″ x 6″ © B.E. Kazmarski

Mr. Sunshine isn’t younger than Mewsette, in fact they are the same age, but she is a little bigger, and kind of a caretaker of a big sister when it comes to baths. Sunshine doesn’t seem to mind.

Working in quick, simple media again for a while, just getting lines and shapes down. This is charcoal pencil and I really enjoy that it almost looks like a crayon in the consistency of line. It’s very expressive.

That could be Faraday and Maxwell, for sure! (we haven’t forgotten about the prints we want to purchase. We just have to sit dad down to get consensus on which one – and what format! We hope to be able to place our order soon!)

Mewsette and Mimi have their work cut out for them with three boys to take care of! I look forward to hearing from you.
