Daily Photo Reprise: What a Sweet Face, 2012
Kelly got to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day too last year! The weather was quite warm with all the windows open and lots of sun. Here she enjoys the sunny windowsill in the bathroom, content and relaxed. Her eyes really are quite green, but in this photo they get an extra boost from the sun reflecting off that mint green sink, directly below her.
Kelly has such delicate little features, that tiny little nose and whisker pads, and those short whiskers, and with her markings it is even more of a challenge to capture them because her face is nearly all black but for a few speckles.

Oh, those eyes!
Chris, it’s hard to not over-green her eyes in paintings of her!

Janet, Kelly had very green eyes to begin with but when I first looked at this photo I thought maybe I hadn’t taken a good look at her! But the sun was shining on the sink and reflecting back up at her. A sweet memory.
