How many cats can drink from a sink faucet at one time? Looks like four is about the maximum. It was all a blur.
I keep having the intention to get these guys a fountain waterer, but, selfishly, I would miss the habit of every day, Jelly Bean coaxing me upstairs, everyone racing me when I finally do go up, leaping into the bathroom and getting in position for the faucet to magically start dripping water, and watching them happily drink and getting beads of glimmering water in their black fur.
But their birthday is coming up—July 26, the Big Four will be four years old! Perhaps that might be a good present for them. Well, we’ll see.
It was just as hot this time last year, and this is what the Fantastic Four did to beat the heat! I actually did get them a fountain recently and they enjoy it all the time, though all of the cats still drink from all their water bowls, and Kelly and Mimi use it the least. I do miss the trips to the bathroom sink, and so does Jelly Bean who this morning raced me to the bathroom, perched on the edge of the sink and purred, batting his eyelashes at me. He is unbearably cute.
