This Week’s Feline Activities on Facebook

A Puddle of Melted Cats

Among other things, we had the excitement of a nice, big box to sleep on.

A roundup of this week’s feline updates on Facebook in no particular order…thanks to my felines for providing inspiration every moment of every day.

……………………..

Okay, all my cats have to stop being so beautiful and sweet and cute and inspiring so that I can get something done besides take more pictures of them this morning!

……………………..

Giuseppe is trying to break my nose with enthusiastic head butts.

……………………..

We got our first good night’s sleep in about two weeks after the horrible heat, and I have cats all over my desk and Mr. Sunshine draped over my arms. Situation normal.

……………………..

Just dropped some ice cubes in the bowl of the cats’ water fountain. After some initial skepticism and circling the fountain suspiciously about four times, Mimi decided they’re pretty good.

……………………..

Another reason I can’t wait for this heat to be over is that I have zero cats with me at my desk, and I don’t like that at all.

……………………..

The rain felt nice and cool, but the rainwater running down the street was as warm as bathwater! Dancing barefoot in the rain.

……………………..

Wow–raLGRK 78I IN! [Mimi is not so excited as me, but added her comment with mine]. That word is “rain”!

……………………..

Two cats on my keyboard shelf back to back, Mimi and JB are double-teaming me, just enough room in between cat butts for my mouse to sit but I have to reach around them to get to the keyboard…

……………………..

Okay, I admit it, I just repeatedly tried in vain to edit a spot from one of my photos, and it turned out to be a small insect on my monitor screen.

………………………

One of my goals with this new site is to find ways to share Facebook content with those who are not on Facebook. I’ll also round up links to stories I’ve shared and include them in another post. If you’re on Facebook, find me at Portraits of Animals.

  • This is a good idea. I’ve wondered about the same thing. I will often post bonus pics on FB that my blog readers don’t see. As always it’s a work in progress to find a happy balance. I’m going to tag this on FB and see what happens!

    • Layla, I found I have a number of readers who are not on FB, and have no intention of it or who can’t because they only have a computer at work, and those who can’t keep up with everything because they either use a public computer now and then or who just don’t have the time. That’s why I never post anything except updates directly on FB unless it’s a lost pet or something. I wish I had the time to summarize the articles I share, I’m still trying to figure out an easy way to do that without taking too much time. It’s well worth it, though, and the collection of updates makes a nice post with a few photos!
