Sleeping on the Job

tortoiseshell cat curled up near watercolor palette
Kelly is sleeping on the job of supervising me.

So much for supervising me in my daily work. As I watercolor a few prints, Kelly was to be scrutinizing my work for quality and correctness, instead she curls herself up and takes a happy nap with all of her long legs woven together. She’s purring too, so she’s pretty pleased with herself.

Technically this is only from “today” because it was…some time after midnight when I took the photo, and I can’t blame Kelly for deciding to get some sleep, fair working hours and feline labor laws and all.

FaRAdaY, any time is nap time, especially when you’re all clean and have the perfect place to roll into a ball, and mom has been behaving herself anyway.

Miss Kelly, I luvluvluv you…just want her to know…she is my role model…do you think she would mind if I interviewed her about her rescue and her recovery process, especially as she is making some pawasome strides even now, later in her life????? It is something new Mom and I are going to do for my blog. I want peeps to hear from the cats what recovery is about for us. Let us know, Mom can send some questions she is trying out. NO HURRY paw pats, Savvy

Kelly wouldn’t mind at all being interviewed! Especially now that she is in the limelight as the most senior kitty, and she’s finally told her story. She’s getting kind of used to getting the attention. Send away!
