Saturday Blessing of the Animals Wrap-up

For my first time out in a while, a completely new display and some new items, yesterday went smoothly. I got to reconnect with a lot of old friends in rescue and feature my growing collection of pet memorial and remembrance items.
Whew! I was actually a little “worried but trying actively not to worry” not only about whether my setup idea would work—I have several tweaks but this is how you find those—but also how I felt being at an event with friends…and catching up. It was kind of an emotional day and I was exhausted when I got home, which surprised me because I had adequate sleep, not typically my way of approaching and event, and the event was minimal compared to other events in terms of time, number of items, and packing and unpacking. But I guess the not-stress was not fully relieving the actual stress. I had intended to post this yesterday when I got home especially since I’d managed to get my post with a video up on social media, but instead took the evening off so I’m following up today.
I actually posted a little video and my comments from yesterday on Custom Pet Memorial Votives where I hope to build up the blog posts. Rather than copy the whole thing here, if you could do me a favor and help to also build up the visitor stats on that site, I’d really appreciate your time if you’d click over to Blessing of the Animals Display and Video.
If I didn’t see you this weekend, maybe I’ll see you at one of my other local events. And if you’re not local, I hope to share these events and my handmade goods in more little videos.

You’re here, don’t worry! Yes, I put Tuna on a suncatcher because I knew he’d look amazing. He’s so attractive to people that a young boy bought the sample votive I had because Tuna looked so much like his cat.
