Rescue Story: More Kittens and Kitten Progress
Some cute kittens and cats are going to be trapped soon! I set up a friend and her mother with some traps and trapping materials and lots of information to trap mom and dad and a litter of kittens living behind a business in Carnegie.
I saw several kittens but only managed to photograph one. Kittens are a good age for socialization and that fluffy little torbie is going to be an absolute doll. Mom and Dad (we presume) show signs of friendliness.
Bonus cat photos, one of the benefits of trapping and helping people with cats. I can apparently never have too many cat photos. Send good trapping vibes!

Update on the former feral kittens
Formerly feral kittens are progressing. This time the long haired tabby voluntarily sat inside a cubby, nervously licking her lips at first, then the slow blinks gave me permission to move in with treats. I gave her several and I petted her face and head.
Lots of petting on the black kitty, and lots of treats there too.
Shorthaired tabby not so forthcoming as she was the last time. Hopefully I can pick up the pace and get them ready to go to their forever home.

Just a quick update on two current situations to let you know what I’m up to.

Would you like to donate some canned food for the kittens?
They are old enough to eat quality canned food, so no more need for kitten food. If anyone would like to donate to buy some food, or would like to buy some and ship it to her or me, let me know. Chewy has many choices.
