Postprandial Tabby Nap

tabby cat sleeping on windowsill
Tabby Nap

I wonder if my neighbor’s kitty had a turkey dinner and is now surrendering to the unavoidable nap as the sun sets, leaving his windowsill in shadow. He just looks so contented and he’s usually very shy and leaves the window when I look at him.

I also like the details of the peeling paint and the nearly monochromatic theme.

I’m thankful he has a happy home, and I’m sure he is too.

I hope you had a beautiful Thanksgiving, and if it’s not a holiday where you are, I hope you simply had a beautiful day!

Mom loves that picture…..he looks very content (though mom often wonders how we cats can sleep sitting up like that)….

We cats can do anything we put our minds to. Our moms should be scared.

What a pawsome picture of this beautiful kitty! I have 2 boys who have pretty much the same markings. Yes Denise & Daisy….”every day” is beautiful when it has kitties involved with it! Makes me smile for this reason.

My Stanley was marked like this–and you can’t see it but he has white paws too, which just finish me off. I look for this kitty every time I face this window, as if I don’t have enough beautiful kitties already!
