Daily Sketch: Looking Closely

I have no idea what Giuseppe was studying so intently. He would bathe a while, then stop and stare down in front of his paws, ears and whiskers at attention.
Honestly, I think it was a mark on the piece of paper he’s sitting on, a fax that had some faded corners and lines from the item that had been copied. Perhaps one of the marks looked like a little mousie tail.
The day grew dark with the rain, and while I’ve had most of the lights off while it was excessively hot, it’s pleasant to be cool and have the kitty keep-warm lamps lit at my desk, with their warm yellow light that brings out the wonderful mahogany highlights in everyone.

They see things we don’t 😉
Layla, I think they have a VERY active imagination, the sign of a superior intellect.
Maybe he saw a goblin?
Purrs
It could have been the tip of his tail…
