Happy Father’s Day to Russ Bixler who recently became a baby daddy after first being a cat daddy. It looks like Fiona has that nice warm baby thing all figured out as she makes her move to cuddle in the lap while baby Baeley is feeding. He is the father in the article I wrote about Kaytee Bixler, who was pregnant and “living with cats, rescuing cats, fostering cats and volunteering” despite advice that often tells pregnant women to stay away from cats altogether. Little Baeley Wren is a month old and doing well, and the Bixler’s six felines seem to accept her as one of them.
Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there, human, feline and otherwise!
