Happy #Caturday

Well, despite the best of planned blog posts and photos, it’s another week that’s gotten away from me. I didn’t even get to post on Instagram too much, so I’ll catch up with those photos on Monday. But I had so many wonderful photos to share and I just couldn’t wait for you to see them! Here’s one of my favorites—Bella, who loves to drape herself off of any edge, napping on the bean counter. Oh, that paw! Every so often she’d flex it and show all her claws. I missed it each time, but got lots of photos of her from different angles. This one is my favorite of social networking, but one of the others you’ll see at another time, and one of the others just may be a painting someday. But what that means is that I get backed up on sharing photos, and we can’t have that.
This week—and last—I caught up with projects I’d put aside when I was working toward Mr. Sunshine’s surgery and finally made headway. Some were business-related, like trying to finalize my version of the Custom Pet Memorial Votives site for animal professionals, and updating all 600+ products on www.portraitsofanimals.net. I also inventoried my greeting cards and note cards and found I’m completely out of some designs in all categories, and worked out printing some of the ones that I print here. Others have to do with my home, still working on financing for that roof, financing interior repairs are taking time because my house is old enough to have lead paint under the latex and all that needs to be tested and possibly remediated. I have a lot of cleaning to catch up on too, and while I actually love to clean in small doses to give me a break from all the focusing and creative efforts, I find myself getting to the creative efforts first, then I have aggressive dust bunnies made of cat fur rolling all over the house…and it’s been really hot.
Tomorrow, Sunday, is a farmers market day, so today I’m getting things ready for tomorrow while kitties enjoy Caturday naps. I unexpectedly spent much of today fighting with my laser printer, so I’ve got to go and finish that up and pack my car. Thanks for checking in, and thanks for following us! I hope that once some of the busy work is finished I’ll have more time to share all the things.
