Giuseppe Longways

black cat stretching on window
Giuseppe is one long drink of water, as we used to say.

We used to say a tall person, especially a slender one, was “one long drink of water”. Giuseppe fits that description, especially his graceful curving stance as graceful as a waterfall as he bids the little birds to come closer. His upper paw is reaching just past 40″.

Annie, I love that big window for that very reason–it’s like having the outdoors as part of the room. But those screens take a real beating…

Savannah, we agree too, but we’ll hope that Mlle. Daisy Emerald Marguerite, Giuseppe’s lovely and mature French-Canadian belle dame in Kingston, Ontario didn’t hear you!

Austin does have that lanky build, and once those long ones start to stretch out they just keep on stretching!
