Poor Mimi! But how talented to nurse her kittens while eating, truly a multitasking kitty. They were about a week old here and we were all just getting accustomed to each other. It had been a while since I’d had a momcat with kittens so young and this absolutely fascinated me, as undignified as it is for Mimi.
But it’s also an example of what cats live through when they are raising kittens. Truly poor Mimi—this was her sixth litter, how many other times had she eaten while they nursed? I promised this little kitty this would never happen again.
One of them is on the other side of her, three are on this side, and, honestly, from this view, I can’t tell you who was who!
