Giuseppe was watching me type while my desk lights shone down on his back and caught just a few highlights, including his whiskers, very nice and contrasty. He left partway through, though, and I couldn’t get all the details of his shape. It’s kind of an awkward pose and he looks a little fat, which he’s not, but sometimes that’s how things work out. Next time I’ll start sketching sooner.
What had Mr. Sunshine so completely transfixed that even his tail wasn’t moving I never determined, though it was likely a stink bug. Still, I had been planning to sketch him or someone on my table, and when he held this pose for long enough I caught him!
