Daily Sketch: TGIF

“TGIF!!! We’re exhausted! Mom’s been on a roll all week and we haven’t been able to keep up with her. We hear some of us have been ‘framed’! We don’t know, we slept through it all.”
Mr. Sunshine and Giuseppe have been hanging together this week, just sitting together and using each other as pillows. They may have missed all the activity upstairs, but Mimi and Mewsette closely observed all my activities, even if it looked as if they were asleep.
But they are right, I have been on a roll, busy at my computer as well as upstairs in my studio, and I promise I’ll reply to comments over the weekend as well as post some new things. The subjects of my work just want to be sure they get fed on time.

This is wonderful, Bernadette. It immediately reminded me of archy and mehitabel. I loves me some archy and mehitabel!

Meg, I love them too! Many cartoonists and graphic authors are influences on my–sometimes I just go through books and images and let the details sink and, and then go and draw!
Pingback: The Creative Cat - Daily Sketch: Watching Me
I love this image – it really captures the essence of the week…. you, busy and trying your best to keep up with it all. Them, blissfully napping, as cats do, no matter the circumstances around them!
Deb, they are always there to remind us, aren’t they?
Bernadette, creative busy is always good. I noticed your copyright notification under the post and have wondered about doing the same. Do you think it helps as a deterrent? I have found my images in some awful places.
Layla, I don’t think it makes a darned bit of difference to someone who will take what they want, but I have had people ask my permission so perhaps where they may have just “borrowed” we’ve had a chance to form a relationship. I’ve had images on the internet since 1996, I’m afraid to look anymore!
