Daily Sketch Reprise: Shopping Bag Inspector, 2015

That would be Mr. Sunshine who hops into any bag that comes into the house and thoroughly inspects all corners and edges and any items inside. He had seen me pull various types of cat food out of the canvas shopping bag, and I think he was hoping it somehow magically sprouted up from the bottom of the bag and he would find more in there and have it all to himself.

He is sometimes joined by Bean, and the phrase “There’s not enough room in this bag for both of us” is immediately in evidence. There was too much activity too fast to sketch that.

Stacks of boxes and bins, and a cat sleeping on the top of each one. I walked in and while there are only three stacks and more than one cat on the top of each one, this is what I visualized.

But then, we always put our cats on pedestals, don’t we?
