That stool has been a hot spot for couples in the past few days. Today it’s Mr. Sunshine and sister Mewsette, no doubt waiting for dinner, though that is some time away.
I enjoy drawing them alone, but I really love the simple compositions they make when they are together, aware of each other though not necessarily interacting. It’s difficult to get a sketch of them before they move significantly, though. I have the beginnings of two other sketches of these two in the pages before this on in my sketch book.

So many sketch reprises this week! Between the heat and a pile of framing that has my studio totally tied up, I actually have sketches but can’t get to the “good” scanner. I’ll have fun next week catching up with several sketches I did this week but didn’t post. I like this one anyway!
