Mr. Sunshine awoke from his nap on my desk, arose and stretched in one graceful movement, from lying curled to fully arched and flexing nearly every muscle in his body.
Of course, he completely blocked my computer so I grabbed the ever-present sketchbook and a colored pencil and got a quick outline nearly done, then firmed it up from memory in the next few moments.
Orange because Mr. Sunshine was the yellow kitten, part of the reason his name is Sunshine, but yellow doesn’t translate well on white paper so I use a variety of warm colors to represent him.
