Daily Sketch: Kitty Spoons

A little number from the nap sequence today, Jelly Bean tucked into Mewsette’s curve, or Mewsette settled around Bean. Either way, they are definitely spooning in the afternoon.

The lighting here has so many subtle colors because most of it is reflected off something else—the green of the ivy on the tree, the yellow of my neighbor’s house, the blue of the sky, even. In this case, both the white bedspread and the black cats reflect and absorb all colors, but in my room in the afternoon, it’s primarily a pale green with yellow.

Today it was oil pastels for the first time in a while.
