Daily Sketch: Get That Bug

Whatever possessed me to try to catch Giuseppe in the act of swatting at the insect that was haunting my desk light, well, I do know, he was just really cute about it. But whatever possessed me to use this particular green pastel pencil…the color just didn’t scan well and some of the finer lines in the sketch are missing. But Giuseppe was a wonderful model, and I have a greater understanding of their faces at this angle, and the lift of the paw.

Giuseppe was awfully cute about it too!
