Mewsette is somewhat large (though not as big as she appears here) and is guarding the steps from any trespass. But she looks as if she might stand up and wave her tail, and that might be the most threatening she might be! But she does take her job quite seriously.

Mimi pointedly sits with her back to me. I wanted to sketch her bathing or drinking or looking out the window, but she turned her back on me and curled her tail in a semi-circle so I guess this is what she wanted. So this is what she got. She had been my model a good bit of the day, perhaps I should have given her some time off.

Or perhaps she was giving me a challenge. I visualized one thing and prepared for it, then she changed the rules.
