Daily Photos: Yoga with Kittens!
Yoga instructor Melissa Lucas of Yoga Digs is a cat lover herself and wanted to host a class with the Zen of cats or kittens. She arranged with Margo and Pittsburgh CAT who decided that a litter of socialized kittens would work best.
The last Friday of each month became “Yoga With Cats”, and back in April I photographed a class but had so much happening that weekend I didn’t have a chance to share the photos. In May I had an event, but last Friday I had a great time chasing eight kittens around through downward dogs and tree poses in a very crowded class.
The kittens were two litters of four nearly the same age and same composition: there were two tuxes, two long-haired white kittens, two calicoes and two dilute calicoes between 10 and 11 weeks old. I took way to many photos…but it’s a great way to socialize the kittens and facilitate possible adoptions, and it makes the class really fun. Enjoy the gallery below!
