Daily Photo: The Panther
There’s a panther napping on a tree branch on my second floor…
“I could leap on your head.”
Of course she won’t.
Doesn’t she look like a panther on a tree branch? I think she prefers to think of herself this way.
Mewsette loves this shelf, and regularly makes the leap to stretch herself out and let an appendage and tail dangle over, confident she’ll have it all to herself—unless Bean decides he wants to be a panther in a tree too, except that he doesn’t look like a panther no matter what he does. He looks like a kitty ax murderer.
And neither of them look like Ceiling Cat.
It’s somewhat of a leap to get there, not far, but across an open space, off the corner of the wardrobe, up about three feet and across about one foot. But it’s totally another world.

Love this one! I live with a short haried panther and he places himself just like this. 🙂

Your personal deus ex machina.
Meg, only if she pulls me up there with her.
