As part of the Pet Memorial Sunday celebration with Chartiers Custom Pet Cremation, a small flock of white doves is released to symbolize letting our animal companions go. We each touched the first white dove, then it was released from the hands of its handler.

The doves circle around a few times, then circle overhead, in the sky.

The ceremony was well-attended and wonderful; I will write more about it in days to come.

      It was wonderful, Texas, and a very emotional day for me, as a speaker at the event and also remembering Cookie and Kelly.
