Daily Photo: Side By Side
At least virtually, as Lakota is in his bed while Jojo is sitting near and creating a shadow, looking as if they are cheek to cheek.
The two are getting really bored with the bathroom. The other day I didn’t latch the hook and eye that holds the door shut and caught Jojo trying to push it open with her nose. Then today I was out in the yard with Mimi and she went to the basement door to greet one of the cats, but had a very defensive posture, unlike her. I saw a light-colored cat through the screen door, and heard growling, then remember the only light-colored cat I have is Lakota! He and Jojo had made it all the way down to the basement and were noisily reluctant to go back in the bathroom! But I carried them back up, poor kitties.

I try to escape being locked in the bathroom after a couple of hours. These little escape artists want to see what “their new forever home” looks like.
Shadow implying the subject. I like this one lots.
Be careful with your Houdini cats! They sound pretty motivated and pretty dexterous, and they’ve tasted freedom!
