Daily Photo Reprise: Am I Interrupting Something? or The Four Housecats of the Apocalypse, 2012

four black cats
A meeting was apparently called…

Hmmm, came around the landing at the bottom of the steps and looked up…not sure what they’re up to. This is not long after I “rescued” the mousie they were wrestling over and chasing around the house, put it outside, and called them the “Four Housecats of the Apocalypse” (the first time I’d called them by that name). Perhaps they don’t like the name.

Or, from another perspective, perhaps they are discussing what to get me for Mother’s Day!

Think I’ll leave them alone to figure it out.

  • We have meetings at our house too…. I stay as far away from them as possible.

  • I remember this post because it was the first time you used “The Four Housecats of the Apocalypse”! I just love that title because it fits with the black cat/Basement Cat theme. And I know how my six cats of many colors love to gallop around the house!

    • Vicki, I couldn’t pass it up. They have such a sense of foreboding up there!

    • Indeed! I was looking at it from the mouse’s perspective–literally–looking up at four black cats a couple hundred times larger than me…
