Daily Photo Reprise: A Situation is Developing, 2012

Three black cats on steps.
Mr. Sunshine is up to no good.

Jelly Bean is thinking, “Someone is watching me.”

Mr. Sunshine is thinking, “Perfect angle.”

Giuseppe is above it all.

I think Mr. Sunshine is getting Bean back for a prior incident.

  • We know that look of, “I’m up to no good!” Some of us get that look regularly. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Muaricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

  • Does Mr. Sunshine have a first name? Or is he like Mr. Big and Mr. Potatohead and Mrs. Butterworth and Miss Manners and Dr. No?

    • Meg, he’s not really clear on that. He has had several names, and came into this one because his human used to sing “You Are My Sunshine” to him, but at the time he needed the “Mr.” because he was so little.

      • That is a darling story, Bernadette! You are so down-to-earth with your kitty titles. I have a Supreme Court Justice (Threegood Marshall) and a Hawaiian Princess (Mayya Papaya).

I thing Mr. Sunshine’s first name is Urmy.

          • I understood, and I don’t know how people can type on those things!

          • Meg, I might have realized after I’d slept on it! That’s the guy, though, I still sing it to him.

        • Meg, their names are too funny! You’ll have to explain Urmy, though…
