Daily Photo: My Working Conditions

three black cats
You want to work? Go find another table. We’re going to have a nap.

Such are my working conditions.

This is a gallery of what my cats did to me yesterday when I was trying to get work done. They invaded my studio, beginning with Mr. Sunshine who went belly up on my work table, and then they proceeded to pour on the cuteness, just looking all fluffy and happy and cuddling so sweetly with each other, I could hardly stand it.

They are too cute for words.

They did this all afternoon. All afternoon I was tortured with this cruel and unfair method. My only recourse was photography. Here is a slideshow of the entire incident.

    • If our human was grillin on the 4th, we’d demand some trout! Be safe, we’ll be in every safe nook and cranny in the house.

    • Torture by cats was never covered in the rules of any union I ever belonged to, Carolyn! I think I’m stuck with it.

  • Ah, so I’m not the only one who works under these conditions. Maybe we should start a support group. I just attempted to sew a, need I say more? Piles of fabric,, now covered in cat hair, spools of thread rolling… still working on getting it under control! I added you to my blog roll and I’m off to view your Etsy shop. Very inspiring, from what I can see behind those kitties!

    • Rascal and Rocco, I think many of us who live with cats unfortunately have to deal with these sorts of conditions. Packing boxes, painting, printing, computering…and when sewing, sometimes unexpectedly dodging at that enticing little needle flickering up and down! Thanks for adding, and it’s a wonder I get anything else done with all their inspiration!

    • Layla, they are actually saying “don’t even think of moving us.” I didn’t dare.
