Daily Photo: Mimi Complains About the Weather

black cat on step
Mimi glares at me because I have let the temperatures drop.

A direct stare from Mimi as she crouches in the cold on the top step of the deck. I tell her that I’m outside too and it’s not so bad, in fact I’m farther outside and I’m coming back from where I was, but she will have none of it, and lets the neighborhood know that I am an insufficient human in letting the outdoor temperatures drop below freezing. Guess she told me.

  • We certainly understand Mimi’s distress; though, we are stuck inside today with a temp of 21 degrees band a wind chill of -5. On the weekend it was 75 degrees and we were romping around our two decks. All eight of us are meyowling about our predicament. You tell ’em Mimi. • Janet, you are a few days ahead of us with weather–we were 70 degrees Tuesday, and today we are 19 with a wind chill of 0, but yesterday when Mimi and I were outside it was only 25. Today they are cuddled together on the bed, dreaming of summer.
