Daily Photo: Ernie at Home

Ernie chills on the couch on his adult human’s lap with his furless human brother and his furry doggy sister. Could it get any better than that?

I got a little update on Ernie, and I’m so happy to see the photos! He was really tentative at first but his adopter let him find his way outside of his regular room. After all, he has two alien species to get to know! But it seems things are fine in that respect.

His adopter says, “Ernie is doing well. He still hides out but is definitely coming out a lot more. He loves affection. If you are petting him and stop he lets you know. He loves to play also.”

The guy has a whole couch to himself! I think he’s hit the jackpot.

It’s really a wonderful thing to see, from frightened, hissing kitties to this. I’m so glad for the people who open their home to a rescued cat, and understand their needs.

And I’m so glad to Pittsburgh CAT for being the organization who found this home.
