Cats for Adoption: Sunday, Just As Sweet
Something about Sunday calls to me, and she’s so sweet perhaps her name should be spelled Sundae! I can’t adopt her but maybe you can give this little girl a home. She’s been in foster for a while and she’s almost a year old—can you give her a home for her birthday present? Sunday a little shy but just as sweet as her name, all vanilla and butterscotch and chocolate! She is spayed and up to date on shots, located in the Pittsburgh area, available for adoption through Pittsburgh CAT.

A Senior Siamese
We rescued a beautiful female Siamese from being euthanized at the shelter the other day. She has an upper respiratory infection and therefore stopped eating and drinking. She became severely dehydrated and required fluids. Upon exam, we noticed she is around 8 to 10 years old. We also found out she’s declawed. She needs dental work done to remove several teeth and needs a full blood panel done to rule out any medical issues causing her to pupils to look slightly abnormal. Â We want to make sure she is 100% taken care of prior to adoption so we have a full medical workup done on her for potential adopters. This poor girl was clearly purchased off a breeder, declawed, then dumped at the shelter at an older age and deserves the best now.
Please help support her care through our YouCaring fundraiser.

Help Homeless Cats Stay Warm this Winter with Shelters!
It’s hard to believe that in just 4 months our temperatures will be dipping down, the snow will be falling, and homeless cats will be trying to find warm shelters to call “home” so that they survive another brutal winter. I help caretakers that care for several feral cat colonies throughout the Pittsburgh Area, they are in need of help with providing insulated shelters for them this winter.
All money raised through this fundraiser will be used to buy supplies to build shelters. There are 3 types that we can make. There are Rubbermaid Shelters (they cost about $25 each to build), Wooden Shelters (those run around $75), Styrofoam Cooler Shelters (those can be made of mostly donated coolers and about $10 worth of materials).
Cats can suffer from hypothermia and frostbite in the winter. Every dollar will help to make this winter more bearable for these homeless cats.
Please help support her care through our YouCaring fundraiser.

We are overloaded with cute little kittens, but don’t forget the older kittens and adults!

Amazon Wish Lists
Many rescuers pay out of pocket for veterinary care and food but the costs of raising even the average litter of four healthy kittens is more than many people have, and many rescues have greater needs. Pittsburgh CAT has a number of wish lists that include foods for feeding neo-natal kittens like KMR, and other lists that include the best kitten foods, adult cat foods, food and materials for feral cats, and preferred toys and litter.

Can’t adopt? Foster! Can’t foster? Donate or volunteer.
There are so many ways you can help cats who need homes and care. You may not have room to adopt another cat, but can foster a cat or kitten for a few weeks. If not that, you can volunteer at a shelter or with a rescue, or donate. You do this because you love your cat, and by doing so you help all cats. No matter which of these actions you take, you help to save a life, and make life better for all cats.
- Adopt one of the cats I’ve posted here, or from any shelter or rescue near you, or from Petfinder, to open up a space for another cat to be rescued and fostered.
- Offer to foster cats or kittens for a shelter or rescue near you.
- Volunteer at a shelter or rescue.
- Find a group of volunteers who work with homeless cats and help them with their efforts.
- Donate to a shelter or rescue near you.
If you can foster kittens or adults cats to help prepare them for a forever home, please run to your nearest shelter and find a cat who needs you! Anyone can help with this effort at any level, even if all you do is donate to a shelter or rescue so they can help to pay for the food or medications needed for their foster, or the spay/neuter/veterinary care during a clinic.

We purr Sunday will get a home soon as she is very pretty.
We do not understand abandoning animals. 8-10 years is not old.
Must be some other(not acceptable) reason for not keeping her.
We purr she will return to good health and find a loving home as well.
