February Rabies Clinic
Pennsylvania law requires that all pets over three months of age must be vaccinated against rabies, with non-compliance resulting in up to $300 per day fines.
February 28
Saturday
8:30 – 11 a.m.
Rabies – $10.00 per animal (cash or checks only)
Microchip – $25.00 per animal (cash or checks only)
Please read the following instructions:
Cats must be in carriers. Please have cats in separate carriers. (Cardboard carriers are available to purchase for $5.)
Dogs must be leashed and in regular collars or harnesses. NO CHAINS are allowed to be used as collars. NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES PLEASE!
The vaccine can be given to any dog or cat three months or older. Any animal UNDER 3 months will be turned away.
If you bring prior rabies certificate, your pet may be eligible to receive a three-year shot.
Your pet will not receive a rabies vaccination from us if it is more than 30 days before the previous shot’s expiration date. Rabies vaccinations requested within the final 30 days or after expiration will be given.
Please note that there could be a wait to receive your pet’s vaccination, so we appreciate your patience.
If a line begins to form, owners will receive a number so you can return to your car and wait; numbers will be called in groups of 10 and will be displayed on a board at the building entrance.
The cut off time is promptly at 11 AM. Everyone who receives a number before 11 AM will be served. Anyone who comes after 11 AM will be referred to the next clinic date.
