A Very Special Visitor

We had a very special visitor today! Charm’s adopter wanted to visit Charm and bring a few of her new toys so she could get her scent on them. A little sisal mouse on a string with a pole and a cat track with a ball that chirps, Charm was very pleased and though she was napping on the floor in front of the sink she happily played with the mouse and pushed the ball around, but most of all she was very pleased that Michelle came to visit. Charm was a little silly and rolled around on the floor, but Michelle picked her up and held her, and really, I think that was what Charm wanted all along. I don’t see any complaints from either one of them!

Michelle had also wanted to get the scents from a few of the other cats on Charm’s new toys too, and Giuseppe obligingly played with the mousie when she first took it out of the package, then when she sat on the floor with Charm, Basil, came over, then Alvina and Theodore, who were out and about at the time, also came over to play. Theodore eventually got a few swats from Charm, but otherwise she was fine with it.

Thirteen more days, and then Charm goes home to be a spoiled and loved only cat! I don’t think it gets any better than that for a formerly homeless cat.
