Some days are filled with too many deadlines, so you are treated with a few new photos of the new fosters instead of a post about kitties who need homes today. I may have deadlines, but I can still take photos. Thanks to everyone for your good wishes!
There was lots of hissing behind the door, outside the door and through the door today, but it seemed to be all talk. A little catnip party cooled things down with the old folks in the bathroom.
Then it was time for yet another nap. They’ve been enjoying their canned food, and where Jojo spent the night in a cat bed in the tub, today she wanted none of that.
Mimi and the Four would not settle with me in my studio or in my bedroom, but instead paced around and hissed. I used a tactic that worked many years ago in this house—a little of the kitties’ dry food tossed about like treats. They forgot about hissing. Lakota and Jojo will be in solitary confinement for at least a month and tiptoeing my way around the landing and the bathroom without stepping on a tail or a paw or into a litterbox or cat bed with a cat in it is kind of like playing Twister.
They were a little mollified with their improvised treats.
