Saturday Morning Cartoons: Being Used as a Fort, 2012

So this is a daily sketch of something that happened, but it was not done in real time as I visualized it, truly, upon awakening, when I really was being used as a fort. I’m not sure exactly which were who, but I know it was the boys and Bean was the one peering over my hip. Likely the one delivering the swat was Giuseppe, he’s like that.
I’ve always wanted to do these little cartoons that occur to me now and then, well, probably more often than now and then. There are a few ideas that are several years old, and I think I’ll start working them up.
I really, really like the technical pen I found, fun to sketch with, but I need to use a thicker pen for my hand-lettering, which is actually quite neat with a marker.
. . . . . . .

Try it some morning, you guys! then she can’t complain you’re trying to wake her up, you’re just doing your thing and she’s in the way!
We think your lettering goes perfectly with the mood of the sketch, though! LOVEED it!
Thanks, Maxwell, Faraday & Allie, we try to make our human’s scratches neater but for some reason she tells us to stop! We don’t know why everyone thinks this is so funny, Giuseppe deserved what he got!
