He’s Back!

black cat with surprised look
OMG, 320 Cat is back!

Guess who is out on the porch?! It’s 320 Cat, and he’s looking in the door! My brothers are all puffed and swatting each other and leaping around because he’s out there, and my mom wants to chase him away! I just don’t know what to do!

My, he’s rather handsome, especially the way he stares down my brothers…

Don’t know just what Mewsette is thinking, she’s a more difficult read than her brothers, and she often gets those big round eyes over nothing I can determine. I think she has a healthy inner life and a vivid imagination.

But where she’d normally be fighting it out with her brothers at the door and windows at the invasion of a cat on our porch, when 320 Cat appears she sits back and really isn’t sure what to do. We’ll let her brothers fight for her honor and her mom protect her old turf while Mewsette tries to sort out her feelings. So far, we haven’t found where 320 Cat lives, if anywhere.

  • 320 Cat looks much better in the recent photo than in your first… how is he doing? Are his owners still around? He’s a gorgeous cat!

    • Peg, even though it was a mild winter I think a good many of his fleas died off and he grew in his winter coat. He is extremely handsome! Still not sure who he belongs to, if anyone.

Sorry not to know already, but is Mewsette not spayed?? Are all these black lovelies n their house-mates, excepting You, of course, Dear Bernadette, not neutered, in fact?? xxx

    • Annie, yes, all the felines are fixed or I would have one hell of a mess of black cats around here! I am not, but it’s not that it matters considering all my children have been feline. Hmmm…

  • I think it’s cute that Mewsette has a suitor – if he only knew! 😉

    • Vicki, he’s fairly big, but Mewsette’s brothers are serious about this, he wouldn’t stand a chance.

Bernadette, the link you have to 320 cat is just pointing back to this same story. I tried doing a “search” on 320 cat and the same thing happened.

    • Susan, if you scroll down you’ll see two others–I just entered the tag “320 cat” to get all the stories where he is mentioned, and they give you the latest first. I wish the archives were just a thumbnail and headline! Is it confusing this way? I can just point back to the second one and I think there’s a link to the one before that.

Hi, Bernadette. Thanks. I only looked at the top of the linked article, and I thought it was the same. Funny, I haven’t had that problem before. Maybe I’m just a little on the dense side today. I enjoyed the posts — it’s nice to see that Mewsette has a friend.

        • Susan, I’m glad for the feedback–what makes sense to me often doesn’t make sense to others just because I know the reasoning behind it! I encounter that often in graphic design and website building. I’m actually also building a new “Creative Cat” site to move everything into that incorporates a lot of the things I’d like to present differently so that images and articles are easier to find, and I use the feedback I get in what I’m designing. Don’t hesitate!

But I’m glad Mewsette has an admirer–not sure how she feels though!
