Daily Sketch: Out the Door

Mimi quietly watches the front porch and walk, surrounded by gentle shadows. A cat’s silhouette is deceptively detailed.

  • I like the focused and textural elements. Happy Caturday from the Cat Wisdom 101 gang: Merlin, Gris Gris, Domino and Odin!

The silhouette of a cat is about as complex as the cat is, isn’t it? I love how you do such a great job with the details of the silhouette and the way their tails drape around their body just so or hang delicately over the edge of a table. Beautiful drawing, Bernadette. So soft and quiet like Mimi is while watching!

    • Susan, thanks–it was really her quiet yet intent demeanor I wanted to catch.
