Daily Sketch: Emeraude’s Autumn Afternoon
We all enjoyed this lovely warm autumn afternoon with the windows open, all the leaves on the maple trees bright yellow and falling thickly in the breeze. Emeraude spent some time in her favorite place as well. I enjoy sketching her on the windowsill, and that’s because she loves it so much, you can feel it when you’re near her.
The first daily sketch I did of her was of on this windowsill in August, all the trees deeply green outside. So I told her now it’s our goal to have four seasons with Emeraude, next will be a winter pastel of her on her windowsill, and then a spring view. She may be 19, but she’s enjoying each day to the fullest.
I liked the view out this window so much I did two other sketches of it today, but still have to finish them. When I do I’ll post them on my non-feline photo and art blog “today”
. . . . . . .
What was I sketching a year ago today?

Nice idea of Emma’s four season series… Love to hear she is enjoying every day.
Maru, of course that means she’ll live to be 20 and beyond!
